14th FAI Paragliding World Championships

Returned from my very first Paragliding World Championships in distance flying! This is a video summary of my stunning experiences in the skies Roldanillo, Colombia. 10 incredible tasks flying with the world's best pilots and learning so much! I finished rank 55 out of 148 which is fine having made some really big mistakes here. After racing a few times from last summer on I am now fully in love with cross country competitions! So much to learn and this is a great motivator! Big ups to my sponsor Ozone Paragliders making it possible to for me to race with the best material out there! Really looking forward to more comps this year!

Fun times in Qatar !!!

What an incredible finish of the year!!!
One week in Qatar as a guest of the Qatar Air Sports Committee in great company of warmly welcoming local pilots and fellow Ozone athletes and friends! Lot's of paramotor flying, dune soaring, parachute jumps and as a grand finish, 2 air-shows on the Qatari national day!
Many many thanks to the QASC and Ozone paragliders!

19th place at 2014 Superfinal

After seeing a pretty bad start the weather conditions for the second half of the competition were finally improving a lot. All together we had 6 tasks, some with very tricky and technical flying in stable conditions and only 2 of them were classical racing with many pilots arriving in goal.
The 2014 PWC Superfinal Champion is the 23 years old Maxime Pinot who won by impressive 200+ points (!) in front of fellow Frenchman Honorin Hamard and Julien Wirtz. Huge congratulation to them! I can now see there is so much to learn!

2014 Paragliding World Cup Superfinal – gone wrong

It is the 7th day of the most prestigious cross country competition of the year, the PWC Superfinal in Pamukkale, Turkey and I believe I'm writing this in the name of all participants. Some already call the event the “Semih-Final”... after the meet director Semih Sayir. Because instead of nice flying and happy landings the event is overshadowed by terrible weather conditions but most importantly by poor organization and terrible communication towards the pilots.

Flugfest Val Gherdeina

Big big up for the Paragliding Club Val Gardena and all their highly motivated members for putting another awesome Flying Festival together! We were lucky with the weather over the weekend! There were lot's of shows going on, I had the chance to jump 6 times from helicopter, twice with wingsuit and 4 times D-bagging my Trickster2 alongside with the basejumper team Turbolenza and other aerial demos.

GoPro support!

Just dropped here by the courier! A nice upgrade from GoPro Europe to support my 'Master Acro' instructional film project and of course also my sporting activities in general!
Many thanks GoPro for this amazing opportunity!
